The County was a drag-racing hot spot in the fifties and remains full of gear heads and high-end custom stores. Given the close proximity to Hollywood and breathtaking landscape, Ventur County has long been a popular location for the entertainment industry. While Simi Valley has been the filming location for series and movies such as Poltergeist, Little House on the Prairie, Three Amigos and countless of western films, - Oxnard was famously both the filming- and story location of Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones (2014). The climate is Mediterranean, usually with a lovely temperature between 65 and 75 degrees on average. We are proud to call Ventura County our home.
