Native-American Chumash history can be experienced at various locations in Conejo Valley. You can for example see original artifacts at the Stagecoach Inn Museum, or see the several hundred year-old cave paintings at Chumash Indian Museum. Satwiwa by the Santa Monica’s brags remade Chumash houses (known as ap’s), and was a historic village inhabited by the Chumash for thousands of years.
